Jack Perkins

Founder

Jack Perkins is the founder of Vania Games, and is the creative lead for Crystalmancers. After graduating from the University of Mississippi with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Jack published a demo of his senior project, called SENTINEL, on Steam. Later that year, Jack worked alongside some of the teams at Blizzard Entertainment as an associate producer for BlizzCon 2023.

Jack's favorite game is Hollow Knight, he placed 98th in the Pokémon World Championships 2015, and he primarily listens to Jazz music when he works because "songs with words are too distracting".

Austin Garrison

Creative Design, Lead Programmer

Co-Founder

Austin is the programmer for Crystalmancers and a part-time bartender (the only time he sees other humans). After earning his bachelor's degree in Software Development from the University of Cincinnati, Austin began turning his ideas into reality, spending all his free time in the Unity game engine.

When he’s not untangling his games’ code, Austin enjoys untangling conveyor belts in Satisfactory while rewatching the same six YouTube videos on repeat. He also holds the record for the most ski poles lost while bailing out on the slopes.

Luka Parascandalo

Character Artist

Luka Parascandalo is the character artist on Crystalmancers. While getting his degree in application development, he decided he wants to make games, so he taught himself pixel art. After 10 long years of working as a web developer and polishing his skills on the side, he finally took the plunge and switched to a full-time freelance pixel artist. He self-published his first game EverCrawl in 2022 and is working on his next game.

When he’s not pushing pixels, Luka is making his own games (including even more pixel pushing) or playing too many video games, his favorite of which is Sekiro. He likes combat in video games so much that it made him start combat training in real life!
